With the exception of the four hurricanes we
experienced, 2004 was a great year for the Vecellio Group.
We expanded our operations on several
fronts, experienced record revenues and carried record backlogs
into the new year.
Vecellio & Grogan established a new division, VG Asphalt, to
serve the greater Greensboro, NC, area.
White
Rock Quarries added a second processing plant in Miami, FL, to
keep up with demand and expects to sell all the limestone products
it can produce.
South
Florida Materials Corp. opened a liquid asphalt terminal in
the Port of Palm Beach, diversifying our interests within the
construction industry, while increasing vertical integration.
All
operating units experienced solid results, with projections
for 2005 looking favorable, as well.
