For the
Vecellio Group's
heavy/highway construction divisions, “Quality You Can Count On
Down The Road” is more than a marketing slogan. It’s the
foundation for decades of road building success throughout the
Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States.
In Florida, this dedication to quality brought in four
prestigious industry awards this year for
Ranger
Construction's three divisions.
For Ranger North, with facilities in the Orlando and DeBary
areas, a reconstructed section of US-27 earned a Quality In
Construction Award from the Florida Transportation Builders’
Association. David Strickland served as Project Manager for the
improvements, which earned recognition in the Urban
Reconstruction category.
Also picking up an FTBA Quality In Construction Award was the
Central Division, which operates in Palm Beach County and the
Treasure Coast. Its SR-A1A resurfacing project in the Town of
Palm Beach earned recognition in the Community Awareness
category.
Not to be outdone,
Ranger
South earned two Excellence In Paving Awards from the
Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida for projects in its
home counties of Broward and Miami-Dade. An I-95 milling and
resurfacing job from Hillsboro Blvd. to Sample Rd. received an
A.P. Bolton District 4 award as a major FDOT overlay project,
while resurfacing work on SR-953 (LeJeune Rd.) picked up an
award in the FDOT Roads & Streets category.
These are just the latest in a long list of award-winning road
construction and paving projects by the companies of the
Vecellio Group, for whom the promise of long-lasting,
high-quality work is not a slick marketing gimmick.
It’s something customers in both the public and private sectors
know they can rely on – now and far, far down the road. |
