Achieves 100% Diamond Recognition
(4th Quarter 2007)
Clean, safe and environmentally sound.
That’s the description fitting all nine Vecellio Group asphalt
plants and the reason they’ve all earned prestigious Diamond
Achievement Commendations from the National Asphalt Pavement
Association in 2007.

The respected “Green Diamond” program recognizes
excellence in six facets of hot-mix asphalt production:
plant/site appearance, operations, environmental practices,
safety, permitting/regulatory compliance, and community
relations.
The Group’s seven asphalt plants in Florida are
Ranger
Construction’s Winter Garden and DeBary facilities in its North
Division; the Central Division’s Grant, Ft. Pierce and West Palm
Beach plants; and
Ranger Construction — South’s plants in
Pompano Beach and Miami.
The Group also has two asphalt plants in Greensboro, NC,
operated by
Sharpe Bros., a division of
Vecellio & Grogan.
“The Diamond Achievement Commendation is an honor in which a
company and a community can take great pride,” said NAPA
Chairman Ron White. “It demonstrates a corporate commitment to
excellence with a community focus and sensitivity.
